TXA™ Precise Peel-off Testing Equipment (Release Force Tester)

It is a device that is very easy for light peel testing of weak loads and is optimized for measuring release forces down to loads as low as 0.01 gf.
In particular, a load cell with a capacity close to the expected load allows for a more variable peel strength measurement . Peel-off test according to international standards such as ASTM, KS, DIN, JIS etc. for most films and adhesive tapes can be tested according to the user's requirements.

TXA-MicroPrecision™ offers excellent reproducibility and accuracy in release force peel strength tests of less than 0.1 gf,
It is very easy to correlate the peel strength with the tack test results.

For loads below 0.01 gf, Ultra-TXA™ (1 μg to 10 gf) measuring at least 1 μg can be applied.

• Automatic distance adjustment (Auto-rescaling) : Eliminates the inconvenience of manually adjusting the position every time when the sample holder and probe are changed,

It is a modular instrument with cryogenic options or hot/cold thermal chambers, hot/cold plates, and constant temperature and humidity chambers as options.

Test Method

•  Peel-off mode : In Peel-off test mode, you can choose 180 degree peel, 90 degree peeling, T-peel test, and the direction of the stage can be directly selected by the user during motorized 90 degree peel test, which is convenient to use, and the peel strength measurement option according to the angle is available.
•  Adhesion mode (tack measurement) : Dots ball probe of various materials and sizes . By following the Ball Probe Tack Test Method, which measures the force generated by removing after applying a constant load on the surface of the adhesive specimen, the error that can occur during the interview test is greatly reduced.
• Tension mode (tensile test) : The μ-TXA is capable of Young's modulus, break strength, break strain and peel-off measurements and shear lap adhesion measurements under a™small speed of 0.1 μm to 5 mm/sec.
•  Compression mode : Hot melt adhesive or acrylic based adhesive, soft samples such as hydrogel, and brittle samples can be measured at low speed to measure the compressive elastic modulus and break strength.
• Creep Recovery mode : TXA™ is capable of Creep and Recovery experiments to measure the recovery behavior obtained after a constant force is applied.
Stress Relaxation mode : By adjusting/measuring stress and relaxation, you can check the rhetoric behavior of the sample.
This means that the displacement, velocity, and time can be arbitrarily specified to ensure a curve of stress/relaxation time.
